Body Scrub OEM: Test Particle Uniformity, Rinse-Off and Pack Use
Screen body scrub OEM samples for particle uniformity, separation, wet-use handling and rinse-off feel before choosing a jar, tube or launch claim.

Approve a body scrub after checking particle distribution across the pack, separation during storage, realistic wet-use handling and post-rinse feel. Evaluate the finished formula in its intended jar or tube. A pleasing texture in a freshly mixed sample does not establish consistent consumer use.
A current body-care format to examine
Naturium's official page lists The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Scrub with sugar crystals, botanical oils, glycerin and squalane (product page, reviewed 3 October 2026). The page marks it “NEW” but does not establish a precise launch date. This is a current product example, not proof of an October sales surge.
Buyer inference: a scrub can combine exfoliation and a conditioned after-feel. Whether that balance suits your customer must be tested on your own sample.
Specify the experience before selecting a particle
Define the body area, intended wet application, desired scrub intensity, fragrance direction and acceptable after-feel. Ask the developer to specify particle material, size range and distribution, not just a generic “sugar scrub” description.
Compare candidates under the same application conditions. Do not assume one particle material is always gentler than another; the complete formula, particle characteristics and method of use matter.
Distinguish distribution from suspension
In a fluid scrub, settling can change the dose of particles delivered over time. In a dense paste, uneven mixing or separation can also affect consistency. Use “particle uniformity” as the purchasing question and choose the relevant assessment for the actual texture.
A practical sample review
| Stage | What to check | Purchasing implication |
|---|---|---|
| Initial pack | Top, middle and bottom samples where feasible | Confirms whether one scoop represents the pack |
| Stored pack | Separation and texture under agreed conditions | Identifies changes that fresh bench samples hide |
| Repeated use | Scooping or squeezing through the intended opening | Shows mess, blockage and variable delivery |
| Wet application | Spread, particle feel and ease of rinse | Tests the proposed use instructions |
| After rinse | Slip, tack and conditioned feel | Separates desired softness from excessive residue |
This is a development screen. Agree stability conditions, duration and acceptance limits with the responsible laboratory; a short screen cannot establish shelf life.
Check the intended container
A jar allows access to a dense texture but needs a realistic wet-use assessment. A tube limits direct hand entry but may be hard to empty or dispense if its opening and formula are poorly matched. Request an evacuation and repeated-use comparison before choosing on appearance alone.
Water-contact and microbiological considerations should be assessed for the finished product and expected use. An oil-rich appearance does not by itself answer those questions.
Keep the claim narrower than the evidence
A consumer evaluation can support a defined sensory outcome when properly designed. It does not automatically establish treatment of a skin condition. If a label promises a quantified smoothing or moisturization result, agree the appropriate evidence plan before artwork approval.
Avoid adding a universal daily-use instruction simply because another brand uses one. Establish the audience and evaluated use pattern for the proposed formula.
FAQ
Does sugar automatically make a scrub gentle?
No. Particle properties, formula and application conditions all matter.
Is a tube always better than a jar?
No. Compare dispensing, emptying, wet-use handling and the actual texture.
Can a freshly mixed sample establish shelf stability?
No. It is only the starting point for a defined storage and compatibility program.
